Lorna Strickland
Co-CEO & Board Director

As Co-CEO of Lacima, Lorna Strickland leads the company’s global operations and corporate functions. She is primarily responsible for finance, legal, human resources, marketing and business operations, while jointly managing project implementation, product development and IT and setting the strategic direction of the business alongside Co-CEO Lee van Dorst.
Lorna has more than 35 years’ experience working with organisations at varying stages of development, from businesses establishing operations through to globally recognised enterprises. Prior to joining Lacima, she worked as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse, Coopers & Lybrand, PwC and IBM Business Consulting Services across Australia, Asia and the UK.
Throughout her career, Lorna has led multidisciplinary teams delivering complex initiatives spanning finance, technology, business operations and organisational change.
Lee van Dorst

Lee van Dorst is Co-CEO of Lacima, jointly leading the company’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations alongside Lorna Strickland. Lee is responsible for client engagement, commercial strategy and business development, fostering trusted long-term relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders.
Lee has more than 25 years’ experience across financial and commodity markets, including market data analytics, investment banking and asset management. Since joining Lacima, he has held a number of senior leadership roles across account management, customer success, and sales, providing him with deep insight into the needs of Lacima’s global customer base and the markets they serve.

Dr Les Clewlow
Co-founder, Principal Quantitative Advisor & Board Director
PhD (Computer Science), University of Warwick, BSc (Physics with Astrophysics First Class Honours), Birmingham University
Dr Les Clewlow is co-founder, Principal Quantitative Advisor and a member of the Lacima Board. In his advisory role, Les provides strategic technical guidance, helping shape the evolution of Lacima’s quantitative models, analytics and long-term product direction.
With extensive experience in quantitative modelling, energy valuation and risk management, Les continues to provide deep technical expertise that supports the ongoing innovation of Lacima’s products and solutions.
Dr Chris Strickland

Dr Chris Strickland is co-founder of Lacima and a member of the Lacima Board. Having co-founded the company in 2001, Chris continues to help guide Lacima’s strategic direction and long-term growth through his role on the Board.
With decades of experience advising senior executives on energy risk management and complex derivative valuation, Chris remains a trusted strategic advisor, bringing deep industry knowledge and commercial insight to the company’s ongoing success.
